Bald­chin groper, affec­tion­ately known as ‘baldies’, are greatly prized for their high-quality white flesh.  Found only in WA, they are pow­er­ful swim­mers and quite capa­ble of break­ing a fish­ing line as they dive for cover among rocks and coral.
